In reply to m miller. Totally agree. Anything that USPS has access to leads to delays and waits. Currently have a package that's been sitting in Indianapolis since March 27. It's now April 13. The message that never changes states that delivery will be made "the next business day." Which business day is the next one, exactly?

I have a package coming. I ordered on 2/2/23. Shipper sent it out on 2/3/23. It’s been stuck since 2/8/23 in Chino – it states in transit.

Vendor said that they contacted FedEx and FedEx states that I should have the package 2/23/23. But it still shows stuck In Chino, a mere 50 miles away. Now the FedEx is showing that I should receive on 2/25/23 – funny since the Post Office is closed on Saturday.

I suppose if the seller had used a pack mule and had someone walk it out to me, it would have been here already.

I am underimpressed with the FedEx SmartPost product.

Why not just ship priority mail? my experience is always a delayed delivery for not a cheaper price

I ordered a sign with a delivery date being the 8th. Now I still have not received my package today the 10th. It’s says my package is pending its in Wisconsin somewhere and there is no further information and that,info was dated the 7th???? Trust me I paid alot for shipping so why hand over to another delivery company??? Why can’t you just update the site with the new information? And why the package is being delayed.

“Fed Ex SmartPost” which is now titled “Fed Ex Ground Economy” lite prepcenter claims that this service requires 4 days. That is never true. A warehouse in Los Angeles uses Smart Post to ship packages to me (destination: Las Vegas). I have no choice when it comes to method of shipping. Shipping time with SmartPost is ALWAYS several weeks. When I examine the tracking, the packages frequently go back and forth between Phoenix and Los Angeles at least twice. Honestly, any other services offered by USPS or Fed Ex are faster than Smart Post. And if a Smart Post package is lost or returned to origin, just kiss that package goodbye because it disappears forever (EVERY TIME). Sorry folks, please be honest about SmartPost. SmartPost never takes only 4 days, even when the package is being shipped cross-town.

My Fedex smartpost package sat in Concord NC for 2 days .It has been to MS,MO, then to NC. I live in FL Finally departed NC but only says in transit but no delivery date. Its a substandard service . When it finally gets to FL It will take at least 48 hours for the USPS handoff. Pathetic.

4 days for smart post my sweet behind its been 6 so far and isn’t supposed to.be here for 2 more days. This is the WORST service that FedEx offers. It’s literally been sitting in Cape Coral,FL for thr entirety of last week. Just got to CO yesterday. The biggest waste of $ ever

Its a funny thing– when a company experiences a wide variation with “ultimate shipping times” from a service provider; and numerous negative comments from consumers, they create a “average or median” mentality when judging that service– the more they use the service the smaller the relative percentage of “problems” experienced… or one would expect. The USPS is the unique exception– their service never changes– it is POOR, always has been, and remains so– . So the Post Office “buys” the shipping service from these companies with ultra-cheap rates ( and then cries for rate subsidies because they make no money!)– the company then pawns the responsibility of that portion of the “customer experience”; and plays “dumb” about the poor transport service– all the while basking in the glory of “free or cheap” shipping for the customer that they so generously provide! These companies need to realize that the customer is not dumb– and he can see that the “emperor has no clothes”!

It is SO unreliable. My package is 2 days LATE,and even though it now says “out for delivery”, it still says PENDING
